How To Become A Christian;

Jesus said:

1 Peter 1:16
Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

The sole purpose of Jesus is bringing restoration & reconciliation from sin to Holiness.

2 Corinthians 5:
19 To wit, that “”God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, “”not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

2 Peter 3:
9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Acts 2:
38 Then Peter said unto them,
Repent,
and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins,
and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

We repent by being honest with ourself and with Him.
When we see into that spiritually we are compelled to ask forgiveness for the incorrect decisions we have made.
Seeing ourself as God sees us
is called repentance.

At the point of true repentance the Holy Spirit enters a person.

We cannot fool God, but we can fool ourselves,
Which is what brought us to the point of realizing our shortcomings.

He knows our every thought, and the purpose we think our thoughts.

Hebrews 4:
12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, “”and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.””

Then we take on the Name of Jesus in baptism exactly like the apostles baptized.
Which actions is multi purpose.
Washing away our worldly sin contaminants & entering into the bride of Christ.
In principle, as in a natural marriage where a woman becomes a bride as she takes on the name of her husband,
We Spiritually become the bride of Christ by taking on His Name in baptism.

Colossians 3:
17 “”And whatsoever ye do in word or deed,””
“”do all in the name of the Lord Jesus,””
giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

He does not negotiate.
Jesus Bride is honest, faithful pure & a true representation of love & thankfulness.

John 15:
11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

John 17:
13 And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.

Are you happy ?
Contented ?

He is waiting to hear from you.
